On this day we celebrate Indian Navy Day because 4th December 1971 Indian army has defeted Pakistan army in the war.This war is called Operation Trident.On 3rd December Pakistan army has attacked in our border and then Indian army attacked on them and through them out and then 1971 war has started.Indian army has started Operation Trident.Indian army attacked on Karachi Pakistani Navy headquarter. 
Indian Navy is a branch of Indian Armed Forces is led by President of India as commander in chief.Started from 1612. East Indian Company established"East India Company's Marine for the security of their ship later the name has changed and then it became Royal Indian Navy and after the independent Indian Navy reestablished and it called Indian Navy.Indian Navy is always proud of our country.The Indian Navy plays an important role to save our marine border.Various event take place during Navy Week with the finale of Navy Day.On this day warships and aircraft of the Indian Navy are open to visitor such as school children.Social work are also done on this day. 
Indian Navy is world 5th largest Navy force.Indian Navy made a very important role for the independence of our country
Indian Navy has plan carried ship INS Virat,more than155 ships and more then 2000 marine command as well.Indian Navy has made an important role in 1961 to through the Purtagali from Goa and completed Operation Vijay.Marcos commandos of Indian Navy are one of the best commandos in the world,they have done an important operation in 26/11 in Hotel Taj in Mumbai and killed the terrorist.
Marcos commandos played a very important role in Operation Cactus,in which Maldives Education minister and other people has Mortgage.Marcos commando saved life of them.

Intresting Fact about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel- The Iron Man of India also known as Sardar Patel. He made his spot in our heart. He was a social leader.He united 562  princly state build the Republic of India. He played a key role in India's struggle of independence. So I will talk about the intresting fact about him.   Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was not interested in politics but after meeting Mahatma Gandhi in 1971 he quit his job and Join independence struggle.
